HC Deb 24 November 1947 vol 444 cc248-9W
Sir W. Smithers

asked the Minister of Food how the 30,000 tons of currants and the 10,000 tons of sultanas being sent from Greece are to be distributed; and if he will take steps to see that they are equitably distributed between retail shops and restaurants.

Mr. Strachey

These currants and sultanas will be taken into the Ministry's stocks, and distributed in the normal way. The answer to the last part of the Question is "Yes."
