§ 103. Mr. Skinnardasked the Minister of Education whether he is aware that building extensions to the Harrow Boys' County Grammar School have been left uncompleted since 1939; that 170 of the most senior pupils have to be accommodated for parts of their instruction in the local technical school; and whether, in the interests of economy of materials, he will intervene to save the considerable work already done from falling into ruin.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI am aware of the facts stated in the Question. The current short-term building programme provides for the completion of part of the extensions, which214W will give the school additional accommodation for science. The authority's proposals for this work will be formally approved as soon as a starting date can be given.
