asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer in what countries other than those in North and South America, it has been decided to restrict our purchases of food for currency reasons.

Ihave been asked to reply. We buy from each country as much food as we can afford, having regard to our financial and trading position with that country. This changes from time to time, and I am afraid I cannot give the hon. Member a list.
