HC Deb 13 November 1947 vol 444 cc106-7W
102. Mr. Walker-Smith

asked the Minister of Health what number of persons by categories it is estimated will be employed full time upon valuation by the Board of Inland Revenue when the Local Government Bill is in full operation.

Mr. Bevan

It is provisionally estimated that the permanent staff needed by the Board of Inland Revenue for rating valuation work will be about 1,700, of whom approximately half will be clerical staff.
