127. Lady Grantasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will assure a greatly increased supply of mantles for Tilley lamps in the North-East of Scotland.
§ Mr. BelcherI would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to a similar question by the hon. Member for West Aberdeen (Mr. Thornton-Kemsley) on 28th October. The available supplies of soft mantles for Tilley lamps are being distributed mainly to regions like North-East Scotland that are particularly dependent on this form of lighting.
