§ 112. Mr. D. J. Williamsasked the Minister of Works what progress has been 17W made in the negotiations for the reopening of the Cwmdu Brickworks, Skewen, Glam; and if he is now in a position to state when production may be resumed in this undertaking.
§ Mr. KeyThe owners of the brickworks are now considering a summary of evidence sent to them by the War Damage Commission in connection with their claim for war damage, and as soon as the summary is returned the matter in dispute will be submitted for arbitration as agreed with the owners. I cannot meanwhile add anything further to my reply of 4th August.
