§ 103. Mr. Hastingsasked the Minister of Health whether regulations exist under the National Health Service Act, 1946, for Regional Hospital Boards to arrange for Refresher Courses for any of those in their employ; or what steps he proposes to take to secure for them these facilities.
§ Mr. BevanSuch regulations are unnecessary. I shall see that the boards encourage their officers to keep up to date by whatever methods are most appropriate,250W and they will be able to allow leave with pay for attending suitable conferences and courses.
