Mr. Shawcrossasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that mine- workers whose public duties such as attendance as members of the local council oblige them to take time off from work, lose the bonus which they would other wise earn; and if he will make recommendations to the National Coal Board that the bonus should be paid in appropriate cases.
