Edwardsasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation what answer he has made to the letter from the South Wales Civil Air Bases Committee protesting against the withdrawal of the air services between Cardiff and Bristol and Cardiff and Weston-super-Mare; whether this was done after consultation between the Corporation and the local bodies concerned, in view of the fact that when this service was run by the Cardiff Corporation this airport dealt with 39,000 passengers which proves the demand for such services; and if he will again give considration to this matter.
