HC Deb 04 November 1947 vol 443 c194W
112. Mr. Stubbs

asked the Minister of Works if he is aware that prisoners of war are housed in race-horse stables, on the premises of trainer Mr. A. W. Goodwill, of Balsham, Cambridgeshire, interfering with the proper operations of a race horse trainer; and will he take the necessary steps to remove them to more appropriate accommodation.

Mr. Key

Yes. The prisoners will be moved to another camp as soon as they have completed the lifting of the potato and sugar-beet harvest, and it is hoped that the property will then be derequisitioned.
