HC Deb 03 November 1947 vol 443 c147W
Sir W. Smithers

asked the Minister of Agriculture why a permit to obtain three pairs of gloves coupon free under the protective clothing rationing scheme has not been issued for the three rangers employed by the conservators of Hayes Common, Kent; and in view of the necessity for preserving the amenities of the common for the use of the public, if he will ensure that the necessary permit is issued forthwith.

Mr. T. Williams

I have made inquiries and am advised that the appropriate authority, which is the Bromley Borough Council, has issued the permit for these gloves.
