asked the Minister of Transport if changes in the current road construction programme will result from the recent decision to curtail capital expenditure; and whether he will make a statement in this connection.

Yes, Sir, and my right hon. Friend will make a detailed statement as soon as a review of all the schemes involved has been completed.
