§ Mr. MayhewAt the first session of the Economic Commission for Europe held at the beginning of May a resolution was unanimously adopted recommending that the activities of the European Coal Organisation should be terminated not later than the end of 1947, and that, simultaneously with its termination, the functions of the organisation should be transferred to the Economic Commission for Europe.
