asked His Majesty's Government whether they will give their reasons for withdrawing the subsidy on oatmeal.

The subsidy on oatmeal was withdrawn for the reasons given by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the new Cost of Living Index section of his Budget speech in another place on April 15.
