§ Mr. BellengerSo far 1,568 special campaign pensions have been cancelled on account of the pensioner being in receipt of the increased rate of old age pension; in 198 of these cases a small Service pension, which had been in abeyance so long as the special campaign pension was more beneficial, has been resumed. The approximate total saving to Army Funds on the cases so far reviewed is £38,000 a year.
