§ 82. Mr. G. Wallaceasked the Minister of Transport if he will ensure that a footbridge, connecting up and down platforms, will be installed at Sidcup, Southern Railway station, for the safety and convenience of passengers.
§ Mr. BarnesThere is a separate booking office on each platform with entrance from and exit to the public highway, which passes under the railway. The provision of a footbridge does not appear to be necessary on grounds of safety, and I should not feel justified at the present time in pressing the company to provide one as an added convenience.
