§ Mr. AlexanderI am aware that the three Service Departments all maintain transmitting stations at Colombo, but I am satisfied that there is work for all three and that there is nothing to be gained by amalgamating them. Particulars of their total cost are not immediately available and could not be obtained without a disproportionate amount of work.
