§ 83. Mr. Wyattasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he proposes to arrange for the issue of a summer uniform for the Metropolitan and provincial police.
§ Mr. EdeA sub-committee of the Police Council is at present examining the question whether any changes should be made in the standard patterns or materials, of police uniforms, and I am not yet in a position to say whether the committee is likely to recommend any changes. The practicability of making any immediate changes will also be affected by the extent to which materials are available.
