§ 61. Mr. A. Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that former employees of the West Ham Corporation Tramways, compulsorily transferred to the L.P.T.B., have been excluded from participation under the Pensions (Increase) Act; and what action he proposes to take to have these men included under this Act.
§ Mr. Glenvil Hallthe Pensions (Increase) Act, 1944, does not apply to the persons concerned; and no application has been received from the London Passenger 179W Transport Board for enabling powers under Section 5 of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1947.
