§ Viscount Hinchingbrookeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has considered the Report of the Committee on Electoral Registration; and whether he is now in a position to make a statement about the legislation to enable wives of serving officers and men resident overseas to vote at parliamentary elections after 15th October, 1947.
