It was not necessary as a consequence of this threat for me to make any special communication to the authorities in Palestine with whom I am in constant touch on the security situation. Certain dispositions already made there, including the evacuation of non-essential British civilians, have the purpose of countering as far as possible any attempts by terrorist organisations on the lives of British subjects.
