§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Postmaster-General why the post town for the parish of Nazeing in the county of Essex has been changed without consulting the residents; whether he is aware that new dies for stationery are impossible to obtain at the present time; and whether he will cancel the recent alteration.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingThere has been no change in the post town for the parish of Nazeing, neither is any such change in contemplation. I am sorry that through an unfortunate misunderstanding the postal address of the village as it appears in a Post Office publication and in certain records was amended in error. I am arranging for this alteration to be cancelled forthwith.
