§ Mr. BarnesAn Order was made in September, 1939, by the Admiralty under Defence Regulation 43, applicable to Trinity House Pilotage Districts. Proposals to amend the prewar by-laws, including proposals made by the Compulsory River Thames Pilots Committee, are under consideration by Trinity House and pending the completion of the negotiations the current arrangements are being maintained in effect under the Defence Regulation.
