Mr. Toucheasked the Secretary of State for Air if he is aware that buildings recently occupied by members of the R.A.F. in Mid Street, South Nutfield, have now been left empty and unlocked; whether this property is now being released by his Department; and whether any steps are being taken to prevent loss or damage in the meantime.
§ Mr. de FreitasWe no longer need these buildings and we are trying to sell them. We locked them when we moved out but they were broken into. I am afraid we cannot spare men to guard these buildings but once more we have done our best to make them secure.
