Barlowasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that Mr. Frank Whittaker, Russia Farm, Tattenhall, Cheshire, has built two cottages for agricultural workers; that these houses were complete, including decorations, for use in November, 1946, with the exception of two grates, which after repeated application have not been forthcoming; and when these grates will be supplied.
§ Mr. BevanThe grates in question are of a type for which demand greatly exceeds capacity and I regret that it has not as yet been possible to secure deliveries. I am pursuing my inquiries and will communicate further with the hon. Member.
