THE EARL OF MANSFIELDasked His Majesty's Government whether houses erected or purchased by the Forestry Commission for occupancy by their employees, are considered as part of the emolument of such employees; and if the latter are subject to eviction, in the event of their leaving the service of the Forestry Commission for that of some other employer.
§ THE EARL OF HUNTINGDONAs stated in the reply given on April 2 to the question by the noble Lord, Lord Teviot, only those houses let by the Forestry Commission rent free to foresters and foremen are considered as part of the emoluments of such employees. Houses let to other employees are let on tenancies. If an employee ceases to work for the Commission and the house he occupies is required for another Forestry Commission employee, notice to quit is given in the recognized legal form.
