§ Mr. T. WilliamsOn the basis of information so far available from my local officers, I estimate that the combined losses of sheep and lambs in England and Wales are in excess of 2 million. Losses of cattle, pigs and poultry have been much smaller. I hope to make a further and fuller statement later in the week.
