Mr. J. P. L. Thomasasked the Minister of Health whether he has now come to a decision about the purchase of huts and especially huts in No. 3 Wing, Madley Aerodrome, Herefordshire, in order to solve the local housing shortage.
§ Mr. BevanAn application has been made by my Department to the Minister of Works for the transfer of this and other sites on Madley Aerodrome to the neighbouring local authorities for housing, and will be considered together with applications from other Government Departments at a meeting to be held this week. I will let the hon. Member know the result.
