§ Mr. BellengerI regret I am unable to forecast when the huts will be removed. The land on which they are erected was requisitioned by my Department in January, 1943, under Defence Regulation 51. The owners agents were invited to make a claim for rental compensation, under the Compensation (Defence) Act, 1939, on two occasions but no reply or claim has been received.
