§ 126. Mr. Sargoodasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that on the ss. "City of New York" which completed loading in the Royal Albert Dock, London, on 8th March, a quantity of imported new planed floor boarding was used for stowing purposes; whether it is a general practice to use such timber for stowing purposes; and if he will take steps to see that such use of timber, valuable for housing, is discontinued.
