§ Sir R. Rossasked the Secretary of State for War how soon the remaining volumes of the "Official History of the War on Land 1914–18," which were to have appeared in January, will be published.
§ The Prime MinisterI have been asked to reply. The production of the remaining five volumes of the "Official History of the War on Land 1914–18" has been delayed by the pressure of other Government printing, to which higher priority must be given. The first of these volumes should be published later this year. It is hoped that two further volumes will appear in 1948, but this forecast must, in present circumstances, be given with some reserve.
