asked the Minister of Supply what is the allocation of tinplate for the production of containers for all kinds of foodstuffs; and the amount of tinplate allocated for non-foodstuff purposes.

In the second quarter of 1947, 88,300 tons of tinplate will be allocated for food packing and 40,700 tons for other purposes.
