§ Mr. D. J. Williamsasked the Minister of Works if he is aware that a child was knocked down and fatally injured by a motor-car driven by an employee of his Department near Builth, South Wales, on 26th August, 1946; that, at the inquest, the driver was exonerated from blame; and if he will make an ex-gratia payment 108W to the parents of the child to cover funeral and other expenses.
§ Mr. KeyAfter further consideration of the circumstances of this case, I propose to make an ex-gratia payment to cover certified funeral and other expenses.
