§ Mr. Thornton-Kemsleyasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty how soon it is proposed to reintroduce the issue to Regular Naval apprentices of the double-breasted cloth suits, the issue of which was suspended shortly after the outbreak of war.
Mr. DugdaleCloth suits will be reintroduced as part of the compulsory kits of ratings not dressed as Seamen, including naval apprentices, as soon as production of the supplies of cloth can be arranged and financial considerations permit. It is not possible at present to say how long it will be before the dress can be reintroduced.
