§ 106. Mr. Digbyasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is aware that electric light and power have been cut off, without warning, several times a day in the extreme West of Dorsetshire during the past week or 10 days; and if he will ensure that in future such cuts are reduced to a minimum and that adequate warning is given on each occasion so as to avoid serious inconvenience to consumers and particularly to farmers who use electricity for milking purposes.
§ Mr. GaitskellI am informed that, apart from load shedding lasting 15 minutes on the morning of 3rd March, the interruptions in supply to which the hon. Member refers were caused by bad weather and no warning could therefore be given.
