§ Mr. CollickA number of labour supply measures are being taken to assist the agricultural industry to cope with the 1947 harvest. These include the maintenance of the Women's Land Army, the employment of foreign labour, including prisoners of war, and the provision of harvest assistance from volunteers, schoolchildren and the Services. The call-up of the main classes of farm workers is suspended.
