Mr. McNeilBritish industrial interests in Yugoslavia fall under the provisions of the Yugoslav Nationalisation Decree of 5th December, 1946. Owners may exercise the right to claim compensation to the value of the net assets of the enterprise at the time of taking over by the State. British owners of private property have the right to resume possession except where the property has been otherwise disposed of by Yugoslav legislation such as, for instance, the Agrarian Laws.
