Mr. Piratinasked the Minister of Transport what steps are being taken to ensure that between now and the day of transfer of the railways to the nation, the railway companies carry out the measures necessary to ensure the efficient working of the railways and the carrying out of necessary repairs to locomotive sheds, engine and other vital matters.
