Dr. Segalasked the Secretary of State for Air why the interim revised rates of pay for civilian physiotherapists in the R.A.F. have been fixed at a scale far below that adopted by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy; why the annual increments are smaller than those generally accepted in the profession; why previous physiotherapeutic service does not count for increment; and when he proposes to remedy this state of affairs.
§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerThe rates of pay of civilian physiotherapists in the Royal Air Force and in Government employ generally are at present under review. I will write to my hon. Friend as soon as the new fates have been decided.
