HC Deb 11 March 1947 vol 434 c167W
111 Mr. McAdam

asked the Minister of Health when he hopes to introduce legislation to cover permanently-disabled persons not covered by the National Insurance schemes, particularly those persons who have never been able to follow any kind of employment and who have had to depend upon their parents and friends for support.

Mr. J. Edwards

The forthcoming National Assistance Bill will deal with these persons, and will be introduced as soon as Parliamentary time permits.
