§ 49. Mr. Laversasked the Lord President of the Council if he will make available to Members the report of the Geological Survey conducted some time ago in Teesdale and Weardale in the county of Durham.
§ Mr. Arthur GreenwoodThe information is to be published in a comprehensive report of the Geological Survey on the "Geology of the Northern Pennines," volume of which covers the area from the Tyne to Stainmore, including Teesdale and Weardale. The report, which runs to 468 foolscap pages, 37 text figures and plates, is ready for printing, but it is unlikely to be issued for some months. Pending publication the officers of the Geological Survey are prepared to furnish information to hon. Members and others interested.
