Mr. Baker Whiteasked the Minister of Fuel and Power what action he intends to take, in view of the complaints regarding the marked increase in the proportion of stone and dirt per ton of coal in deliveries to industrial establishments over the past two months, and the protests from blast furnace operators as to the increase in the percentage of dirt in coke over the same period.
§ Mr. ShinwellI am not aware that there has been any marked increase during the last two months in the proportion of stone and dirt per ton of coal in deliveries to industrial establishments, nor have I received protests regarding dirt in coke from blast furnaces.
