asked the Secretary of State for War if he will relax the rule forbidding the mixing of non-commissioned officers with private soldiers during leisure hours.

Mr. Bellenger

There is no such rule in force for men off duty outside barracks. Within barracks commanding officers may make whatever restrictions are necessary, in the light of local conditions, for the maintenance of good discipline.
