§ 72. Mr. G. Porterasked the President of the Board of Trade what has been the increase in the supply of willows for basket making due to the amended Order promised on 28th January, 1947.
§ Mr. BelcherThe Control of Willow Rods and Willow Sticks (No. 6) Order, 1947 (S.R. & O. 1947, No. 140), became effective on 3rd February and cannot yet have had any effect on the supply of home-grown willows in view of the weather. It is hoped, however, that, as soon as weather conditions permit the resumption of processing, substantial deliveries will commence.
