§ 97. Mr. G. Williamsasked the Minister of Labour if, in cases where Italians have worked on farms for a long period and have proved themselves satisfactory, they may now be allowed to return from Italy to start work on the same farms again; or if, in cases where they are due to return to Italy this year, they may be allowed to return to the farms after a visit to their homes.
§ 98. Mr. Rentonasked the Minister of Labour whether he will now grant facilities for the return to this country, subject to any necessary safeguards, of a limited number of former Italian prisoners of war, skilled in agriculture, whose services are requested by their previous employers, especially in cases in which accommodation can be provided by the employers.
