§ 122. Mr. W. Fletcherasked the Minister of Supply the number of motor cars supplied at home and abroad for the use of Government Departments, including service Departments, during the years 1946 and 1947, which come into the new category of vehicles due to pay 66⅓ per cent. sales tax on the basis of their selling price being £1,000 or over.
§ Mr. WilmotThe number of such cars bought in this country was 135 in 1946 and 13 in 1947. I regret that the number of cars purchased under local powers abroad is not available centrally.
