§ Mr. ShinwellYes. The matter was brought to my attention early in May. Consignments of inferior coal are occasionally unavoidable in present circumstances owing to shortage of labour and machinery for sorting and preparing the coal before distribution. With regard to the second part of the Question, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer I88W gave the hon. and gallant Member for Totnes (Brigadier Rayner) on 19th June.
