§ 107. Mr. Stokesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to what extent he intends transporting electric generating plant bodily from installations in Germany to this country; and what steps are being taken to replace the shortages which already exist in Germany and which will be exacerbated by this action.
§ Mr. BevinI have no present intention of bringing to the United Kingdom any electric generating plant from public utilities in Germany. The shortage of electric power both in Germany and in countries dependent upon German supply is due not to shortage of generating plant but to shortage of fuel.
