CrippsAt my request the manufacturers of vacuum flasks have recently agreed that, while the present shortage lasts, they will not supply any further flasks for incorporation in picnic baskets to be sold on the home market. The "Thermos" permit scheme is intended solely to enable those whose need for a flask is essential to obtain one quickly and a considerable number of flasks are now on sale free of permits.
