HendersonAs indicated in paragraph to of the Viceroy's announcement of 30th April, the criterion for the release before the date of the transfer of power of European members of the Secretary of State's Services with entitlement to compensation will be the public interest and it is not intended that the officers themselves should take the initiative in the matter.
